The purpose of this fund is to support the areas of interest of the British Embassy mentioned below.
The specific areas of interest are:
Bidders must have a thorough understanding of religious persecution. An understanding of government programs would be an advantage. The organization will be able to demonstrate a strong track record in financial management and internal governance.
We are looking for creative and original project ideas that could help us achieve any of the above goals.
The successful bids will be for innovative activities that will have the greatest impact and bring real change to the FoRB agenda in Iraq. We are less interested in proposals that focus only on seminars, workshops or the production of research reports that end in themselves. Instead, proposals should include action-oriented ideas that will bring concrete results.
Budget
Project activity must be completed by March 31, 2022. The total amount of funding available is GBP 30,000. We are unable to fund multi-year projects. The successful contractor is required to publish quarterly reports.
Projects not eligible for funding
Projects focused on service delivery or projects that support military, religious, construction activities, investment costs or primarily staff salaries are not eligible.
Evaluation
Offers will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- alignment with the priorities and outcomes mentioned above
- clear practical direction leading to tangible next steps
- results are achievable during the funding period
- clear monitoring and evaluation procedures
- rigorous risk and financial management, including consideration of protection risks
- overall value for money
How to register
